By David Shire is compelling. It's mysterious and dream-like and works perfectly with the tone of the story. Can't say I've ever heard anything quite like it in another movie, let alone in a thriller.

Agreed; this is a really good score, and walks that line between mysterious and creepy.

Fun fact: he was married to Coppola's sister. FFC wanted only piano because it represents the lonely man.
