Any know of any more cockfighting movies besides Cockfighter?

Talk about a very specific genre? I would take a crack with "Roots" with Chicken George. "Heavens Gate" when Kris Kristopherson goes into the bar early in the movie. Any future documentary on Roy Jones Jr., the professional boxer. Now dogfighting...that might be a different matter, Charles Bronson and Lee Marvin comes to mind in "Death Hunt." Finally the genre of russian roulette is explored very well in "The Deer Hunter." I hope these titles give you some pleasurable viewing!

Actually I was referring to anybody knowing of other movies about rooster fights.

There is a Filipino movie about cockfighting, it was even funded by cockfighters I believe.

But it's pretty obscure so I don't know if you can find it. Otherwise just typing in "cockfight" here in IMDb will give you a few result.

The Deer Hunter is, of course, the mother of movies featuring Russian roulette.
Then there's a French/Georgian film called Tzameti which revolves (pun unintended) heavily around Russian roulette. It's a superb, taute, modern noir film. Be mindful not to watch the US remake by accident, which, though watchable, is a joke compared to the original.

I don't know about any movies. But you should check out a Tom Russell song called "Gallo Del Cielo". Tom has recorded this song many times, and Joe Ely and many others have coverd it. My favourite version of Tom's is recorded on "Song Of The West" (1997). Check it out! ;)

The Day of the Locust has a cockfighting scene near the end of the film. Pretty graphic.
