Did this ever get shown on TV back in the 70s or 80s or 90s????

In 1974 we were staying with neighbors while my parents went on vacation.
We were all watching TV in the rec room and..........the trailer to THIS movie came on.
I remember it being very "nightmarish" and the slow motion shots were so creepy.
I never saw this movie until I found it on YouTube last night. What a grim, strange, movie. Not like the other cheezy 1970s science fiction "B" list movies (The Neptune Factor, Logan's Run, Bug) -- there was something bizarre and creepy about this movie. It actually gave me nightmares. LOL/.
Anyway-- did this ever play on TV ? Not cable or TMC or anything like that-- did it play on Network TV ??
(I don't think it did)
