Comimg out on DVD in April, 2009
"The Centerfold Girls" is a top-rate piece of nasty and sleazy 70's grindhouse trash which really needs to come out on DVD already. Andrew Prine gives his creepiest psycho pic performance to date as a nerdy bespectacled wacko on a self-appointed moralistic crusade to bump off the various sinful scarlet harlots who posed naked for some scuzzy skin mag. Among the beautiful 70's grindhouse starlets featured herein are Tiffany Bolling, Connie Strickland, Talie Cochrane, Jennifer Ashley and Janet Wood. This is the kind of lowdown grimy and mean-spirited gutter filth that just doesn't get made any more. Hopefully someone will issue this baby on DVD so future generations of sleaze movie fans can rediscover and embrace it as the choice chunk of raw celluloid slime that it undeniably is. Well, Dark Sky Films are putting this flick out on DVD in April, 2009. Hooray!
