I know there is a dutch tape release that is widescreen with subtitles, which I had for a while but it mysteriously disappeared when I moved into my new home. If anyone can get ahold of this and/or make a VHS or DVD-R copy, please let me know at: [email protected].

Try www.revengehorror.com. They offer the "uncut theatrical release", same as the Scandinavian cut, apparently, on DVD in both widescreen and pan-and-scan for under $25. Not the greatest-looking print, not in 16x9, but close enough.
shareA German DVD release has been announced for the 18th of March and the company seems to have promised the uncut version in anamorphic 1:2,35.
EDIT: Scrap it. The German DVD is just transferred from VHS and looks horrible.
