Hello,

Here a message from Holland.
I'm Alex and i am looking for this movie on VHS or DVD.
I was a child when i saw the movie in black and white on our tv.
It made a very deep impression......

What i like to know, is the movie in good qualitee, an does it have Dutch translation underlined? (translation) How can i get a hold of this film on dvd or vhs....

You will have to read the other posts for the controversy surrounding the existence of DVD/VHS versions since this is a point discussed at some length.

If you do get a copy, I doubt it would have Dutch language subtitles or soundtrack.

the movie has just been put out on dvd but only in america

Yes I know you can buy this on eBay. They are pirated copies made from TV. I've got a copy from TV from about 15 yrs. ago myself. So I wouldn't gain anything from purchasing one of those.

I'm waiting for an official licensed release digital transfer.

This film just got an official Region 1 DVD by the company Timeless Media Group. It's a nice quality transfer from a print that's in excellent shape. I purchased my copy for a mere six bucks at a local grocery store.

"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"
