Car chase at the end.

Did McCord want Sheriff Roy to crash at the end of the movie or was McCord wanting the other cop to witness Roy trying to run speeders off of the road?

Mcord runs the sheriff off the road in revenge for his brother.

How can McCord run the Sheriff off the road if McCord is in the front?

You are correct, Mcord is in front of Sheriff Roy as they enter the curve at the end. Mcord has planned this out as seen earlier in the movie. Mcord knows he can take the curve faster than the Sheriff and "fakes him out" so the Sheriff loses control and crashes, and that's how Mcord runs him off the road by being in front. Mcord beat Roy at his own game.

I'm assuming you've seen TCK. It would be easy to take my post out of context if you are not familiar with the plot. You have to take into consideration the events that take place prior to this scene.

I've seen this movie many times since I own it on DVD. McCord also could have wanted a cop witness Sheriff Roy trying to run drivers off the road since a state policeman was at the curve.
