Second that, she was a true talent. I've seen the movie many times, but I just don't remember Desiree Cousteau in it. According to the cast review here, she played someone named Debbie---. Any recollections or ideas? (Boring day at work).

She gives a really touching and impressive performance in "Caged Heat" as a fragile frightened innocent who's very similar to her starring role as Lila Lee in the outstanding vampire pic "Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural." Rest in peace, Ms. Smith.

I was surprised to see this was released in the same year as Lemora, A Child's Tale of the Supernatural. She looked 11 or 12 years old in that movie, but she was actually about 19! It sounds like she had a very difficult life that ended rather early so I hope she is finally at peace now.
