ending question please...spoliers
I remember the two final people make it to shore. But did the Templars also get to shore and kill the two survivors? Or did the movie end without us knowing what happened to them?

After Lillian and Howard make it to shore and pass out in the sand, the Templars rise from the sea and inch their way towards the exhausted couple. When both of them open their eyes and look up, they see the Templars have surrounded them and the movie ends as the Templars reach down and claw at the 2 remaining survivors and the scene freezes and ends. It is assumed that they were killed.
