wild bunch has nothing on this!!

this film is stygian right from the get go. the characters themselves know it is hell straight off the bat. they are fed up with their own lives and will go any extent to change it--even if it meant for dangerous consequences.
the acting is just ridiculous. And others also did their job.

straw dogs come close but that is not as stark as this for sure.
this is like seeing --old no country for old men.
