Udo's Count Dracula

Simply amazing!
Vampires aren't supposed to be vigorous and sane/healthy, and Udo played Dracula very nicely. Quite the seductive type, but with a certain fragility that turned out to be very appealing.
The coolest Dracula ever in my humble opinion. Beautiful, charming but nasty and fierce as well.
You couldn't help but root for him, like Alex in ACO.

I watched the entire film just some days ago, but I had seen some bits here and there, and I like Udo from other stuff.

Simply a classic, funny and tragic at the same time.

The DVD commentary is pure gold, too!

Thumbs up to all involved.

If vampires were for real, they'd probably be more like Udo's Dracula--no supernatural powers, vulnerable but also deadly, like a carnivorous animal who doesn't have a choice but to kill in order to survive. Sunlight won't kill them, though they'd be sensitive to light. Crosses won't burn them, though they might detest them like some people detest rats and snakes. They'd probably still appear in mirrors though and could probably survive on blood from virgins and non-virgins.

The only frightening about this Dracula, were his constant hissy fits!! Still, Udo Kier was awesome.
