Peter Was Not The Killer

I met actor Keir Dullea at a fan encounter with his "2001: A Space Odyssey" co-star Gary Lockwood and I can confirm what Keir told me, Peter Smythe was not the killer. Keir was very adamant he wasn't. Any theories that state he was is wrong. Bob Clark also stated to Keir that Peter was not the killer. Billy was indeed the killer and was voiced by actor Nick Mancuso. It's all on the BluRay with the black telephone on it.

Yeah, I think people get caught up with the whole Peter is the killer thing.

Though Black Christmas is quite ambiguous in a lot of ways, it's not ambiguous as to who the killer is. The killer is Billy. The ambiguity comes more in that you don't ever properly see Billy, or know anything much about him. We hear Billy rant about things that his parents have said to him, and refer to Agnes. These rants are what are open to interpretation, not whether or not Billy was the killer.

Being that Peter was killed at the end, and the killer is still in the house, we know it can't be Peter. He was a red herring.

What made one think it was Peter was the killerwas the comment Billy made to Jess on the phone about the abortion and the wart. Oh, and Keir signed a photo of Peter for me that read, "No, I didn't do it!" Love Keir Dullea..... I have that framed on my wall. He as so charming and kind.

Oh, he was the red herring. The film made you think it was him all the way along.

Mainly due to his being unbalanced. I told Keir I thought he was really good in it. Funny part of it all is Keir said he did the film only because it allowed him to get the money to go home to England where his wife was. So doing the film helped him pay for airfare.

They are blurring the lines, people out there don't want to see that, they don't want to know these
people exist.
