This is a joke of a movie why an 18 rating so no children would legally be able to see this crap movie.
This movie is the best blaxplotation movie ever!I laughed so much during the first scene i think i tore something. AND THE MUSIC.........freakin awesome!!!!

Could not agree more. This is one of my favorite lines in any movie. However, you got it slightly wrong. The line is:
"Don't worry, I got a couple of A-1 Bogarts comin down from Frisco."
I love this movie and line so much that I named my City League basketball team the A-1 Bogarts.
Other good lines (or close approximations):
"That chick is baaaaad!"
"Hey man, you believe in world peace?"
"Yeah."

Jim Kelly is one cool guy......and "BLACK BELT JONES" is one classy film.

I don't think getting an education on blaxploitation isn't gonna help this guy much. Blaxploitation is one of those things you either love it or you hate it. You either get it or you don't.
If you have to explain it to him, or if he has to do research to understand why it's funny, then he just doesn't get it.

You going about this the wrong way! You have to appreciate it for what it is. You can't take it seriously! Have a few drinks put it on when your with a group of people kick back and enjoy the ride!
