Fascinating. I didn't used to see this film that way but your insightful post forced me to reevaluate my feelings for it and I now realize what a fool I was.

Such sagacity shouldn't be limited to one film! Have you given any thought to starting a thread on the general board where you can post hourly updates of your feelings so all of IMDb can benefit?

I agree. I found some parts beautiful, but the whole movie was just boring.
