Who did you think the werewolf was?

Before the true werewolf was revealed.

Peter Cushing's character. He was too expert, always seemed to be there.

I also thought it was Cushing.

Big star and all - nice twist.

reply

Paul Foote. He was zany, hairy, and a cannibal.

Caroline SPOILERS!!!!!!

I thought it was going to be one of those cases where its someone who is not among the actual suspects and when her name was mentioned in the werewolf break made her the odd one for me. When it was revealed to be her I was dissapointed and turned it off at that point. What a fool! when i finally did watch it again I realised my mistake

I don't remember who I suspected. Not Cushing, because he wouldn't have played the villain in a film like this. Not at this stage in his life. I was leaning towards Charles Gray, if I remember correctly.

I love to love my Lisa.

I actually guessed right.

Peter Cushing lit his cigerette up with a silver lighter when 3 others held the candle stick. Davina on the other hand was seen running out of the house behind cushing and the two black characters (don't remeber their names) after the wolf had called on the last night, she also suddenly appeared to comfort the woman grieving over her dog from no where. There wans't, however, anything to suggest who it really was, except a little bit of shifty looking.

Only those with no valid argument pick holes in people's spelling and grammar.

I thought there were going to be two werewolves and Tom would be one and Caroline would be the other. I thought maybe he could have invited all those people to the mansion so he could have them as victims. I realize now that doesn't make any sense because he wouldn't have so much equipment to try to hunt werewolves if he was a werewolf himself, but my thoughts don't make sense all the time.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

as a kid I went for Paul Foote but watching it as an adult I can see Jan. So many pointers that I face palmed how stupid I was when I was a kid

paul foote.

"you thought it was me gnawing on the passengers? nah, I'm a vegetarian."

I actually suspected the wife because she was always angry at her husband whenever he suggested a way to reveal the werewolf. And I also suspected Jan because he was trying so hard to look innocent. I thought it must be one of them. Didn't know they were BOTH werewolves!!

reply

I was banking on Dr. Lundgren (Cushing) since Cushing wasn't used too much up to that point. After all, why cast Peter Cushing if you're not going to use him?

I didn't think it was Jan (Michael Gambon) or the member of Styx because too much suspicion was brought on each of them, so I assumed it was one of the remaining three with Lundgren being the most likely.

Of course the main werewolf did turn out to be Jan.
