fondly remember this movie from my youth

This movie always stayed with me after seeing it in the 1970's as a kid. Well, I got a VHS copy from the library and watched it for the first time in over 30 years with my kids. They liked it and I still really enjoyed the story that involved the bears, but thought the indian/white man subplot was a little overdone. It was typical Disney 70's stuff.

I have a question, when i was little in 1975. I had this movie viewer and i remember seeing a film clip of 3 bears on a canoe or something and they ended up on shore. They were by themselves and i remember the bears went into a building and they were in a big kitchen (much like a restaurant kitchen) and they were knocking things over such as pans and i think even a tray with hot dogs on it. Is this from this movie?? I seem to think what i saw was a Disney film and to this day i wondered where the clip on the movie viewer was from.

The film you're thinking of is a Disney theatrical featurette "Yellowstone Cubs", from 1963, shown later on the TV show. It is a pleasant narrative type true-life adventure (after "The Jungle Cat" all Disney nature-type films were narrative, not documentary in approach).
