guney,s wonderful arkadas

when i listen melika demirag singing arkadas song,which is the sound track of this film,i always remember the great man ,we lost suddenly 1984.guney most of his films had one thing in his mind,to fight right wing B/racy.At the time GUNEY seen as a left wing or somekind of a comunist.Guney was normal citizen who had a chance to raise awareness of poverty in his native country.also he wanted his fellow countryman to have a freedom of speech.when you watch this film,one of scene shows a few tourists zooming their cameras on historic monuments.suddenly they turned their cameras on loud crying kids with tatty clothes and bare foot.you know why? "let the world to see our sad state,poverty in our country" said Yilmaz Guney. how right he was at the time.sorry to treat you badly in our country,thank you for the clasic films you directed and you show us the way.may be our lovely country one day make up for it.may be one day.
