Just like to see this film on DVD format, so I may add it to my collection of great movies.

A bare-bones DVD was released in Region 1 (Canada) on January 29th, 2008. It has a nice slipcover and can usually be found for approx. $15.

Are there any special features on the DVD?
shareNo extras, just the film with English and French 2.0 audio, and English subtitles. Most retailers here do not have it for sale. Mainly just amazon.ca

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there has never been a widescreen version of Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz released on DVD.
The ONLY available version on DVD is full-screen, at 1:33. ยกBoo, hisssssss, hisssssss!
I would never buy or watch such a pathetic censored creature.
