A still picture from this film was taken from the 1976 teaser trailer for Exorcist II: The Heretic. (The picture of a girl laying on a bed, which would represent Linda Blair in the first film, was taken from this film)

Yeah, I saw that picture used for "Exorcist II: The Heretic"'s teaser aswell. Is that Linda Blair in the poster? You cannot really see her face clearly enough to tell, at least I can't.

The Tempter didn't come out in the US until 1978, a year after Exorcist II. Are you sure they didn't use a picture from Exorcist II instead?
