My last great Fellini film

I finally got the chance to see Amarcord which sadly was the last great Fellini film for me to see.. It is one of the very few films I can't really put the finger on what I loved about it. It just had "it". It was chaotic and elegant at the same time. You could feel throughout the viewing that Fellini loved making this film. It felt personal, just like 8½.

Take care guys,
Cheers!

I am lucky in that it is only my third Fellini film. I completely agree that it had a special quality. Even in its more difficult moments, for example the uncle in the tree, there was still such a sense of amazement and nostalgia. It's pretty powerful to feel that nostalgia for a place and time you were never a part of. An amazing film.
