This was very WEIRD!

I couldn't really understand this movie at all!

there's a new book available at amazon.com called TELEVISION FRIGHT FILMS OF THE 1970S that talks about this film.

It's literally been YEARS since I've thought about, let alone seen this movie, but something reminded me about it earlier today (don't ask what triggered it, but somehow a thought popped into my brain about the TV movie where a group of orphans kidnap a man and woman in the hopes of making them their "new parents", particularly the setup where the man picks up the little kid struggling with a bag of groceries and offers him a ride home through the backwoods). Amazing what typing a few key words in a Google search can do! Anyway I remember this movie being very creepy and quite weird and I'm amazed to see it was issued on DVD, especially given how long it's been since I've seen it aired anywhere.

It was very strange but quite charming. I got it on a DVD double feature along with Devil Times Five. Although Devil Times Five is slightly better, this movie is good too and I'm glad I watched it. The DVD was well worth the money.
