Not really a classic that it has untouchable status but quirky and strange enough that it could stand a contemporary reworking while keeping its cartoon character intact. And why not just call it, "Harry Crown--Everyone's Dying To Meet Him!" How about George Clooney in the lead?

ONE thing that would have to stay is the Henry Mancini score.
It'd be kool to turn Frank Miller loose on the screenplay, put Tarrantino behind the camera,...Sean Penn in the Chuck Conners part, Julia Roberts as Buffy. Maybe they could add Angelina Jolie as a new character, Buffy's bi-girlfriend, with crush on Harry Crown.
