Brain Cancer - what's up with that??

I am watching Tattletales and Greg Morris is on with his wife. As it frequently happens I Google couples who interest me to see if they are still alive and or married. Greg Morris is deceased and he died of brain cancer. That makes three from this show. Bobby Van and Bert Convy were the other two.

Another one Cad Everette's wife died of a brain aneurysm. Does anyone think snorting cocain has anything to do with it?

reply

Yes I'm thinking cocaine could have attributed to their brain cancer..along with smoking, second hand smoke, bad diet, drinking etc.

All those fuel injected celeb parties, wow.

Shall we play a game?

My father passed away this past June from brain cancer at age 66 and he didn't drink, hadn't smoked for 30 years, and never did drugs. Sometimes it's just the hand you're dealt...

I was thinking it was eerie how many passed from brain cancer when I saw an episode with Bobby Van and Meredith Macrae and of course Bert Convy! Terribly sad. I love watching these old reruns on BUZZR...love to see which couples stayed married and which divorced. You can almost predict it from watching their interactions.

Yep. I always look up each couple at the close of a show.

Bobby Troup and Julie London you knew would be lifers together without looking them up. James Brolin and his first wife? YIKES. You just wondered how much longer after the show THAT carried on.

Don't f@ck with me fellas! This aint my first time at the rodeo.

reply

It is probably about 60/40, divorced/not.

What is more likely today, is those who stayed together but one or both are now deceased. That is common. It has been some 40+ years since Tattletales has aired.

Of couples Buzzr has had shows of, these are still together, and both alive:

Patti Deutsch & Donald Ross
Mitzi McCall & Charlie Brill

Add Shelby Grant with a brain aneurysm and Meredith Mcrea with brain cancer
