Whilst nobody can deny Diana Dors was a sex symbol, she excelled here, not far from her untimely death, in this episode of The Sweeney as a battleaxe/control freak. Still retaining an air of beauty nonetheless, she still scared the pants off Inspector Regan. My personal favourite part of this episode was when she smacks Regan around the face - but the excellent John Thaw looks like he actually expected a lot less from her than such a knockout punch!
shareI saw MOTG recently and she really stole the show in that one. The all-time mother from hell. A funny moment is when she sits on the wedding cake and another good bit is when she passes out after seeing her sons get made fools out of by Regan & Carter.
