Episode Supersnout

Stickley look like a prototype for Mr Bean

reply

Anybody know what the music track that was being played whilst Regan and Stickley were watching the stripper?

Unfortunately both versions of the episode in Youtube have had the soundtrack in the stripper club removed - must have been for copyright reasons.

I was off work yesterday sick and saw the latter part of the episode on daytime tv. I found myself enjoying the music from that scene rather than the stripper.

As I dimly recall, T&A was quite frequent in the series? so they have to edit it out for daytime tv.

Maybe a bit late but I only just read the thread.

The music from the stripper scene in Supersnout is a piece of library music called, Steam Heat and was composed by Barbara Moore, it is available on an album that was released in 2001 called Shut It, the music of The Sweeney try discogs or one of the other OR

Usually (and again for reasons of economics/copyright) the music used in these scenes, in The Sweeney and other shows, or heard coming from a transistor radio, is made up, or pulled from a "muzak" style library. It always looks ridiculous - our guys are making the scene in some trendy disco, but what they're frugging to is not the hits of the day, but some pallid, squelchy synth number.

Given all the free music on Youtube it seems like a total waste of time chasing up and changing old programs due to copyright.
