Gandy and his kids

I had asked this before and that thread has been deleted, so here goes again: do you think Gandy made any sort of peace with his children? Some people said that they didn't think it would be likely since Gandy was a wife beater and one child was a daughter and the other was a police officer. I have a scenario where at least one kid would get on good terms with Gandy:

The daughter gets involved in a situation that is both illegal and violent. Something that she wouldn't be able to go to her brother with because he's a police officer. The daughter would go to Eunice, her late mother's best friend. Eunice, in turn, reluctantly goes to Gandy. Gandy has gotten over his hatred of Eunice and decides to help, especially since it involves his girl. He also drags Rockford into the matter. Things, of course, get hairy, and even Gandy's son gets into things. After some violence, things get wrapped up with Rockford, Gandy, and the children still alive. The son would still have resentment towards his father, but Eunice and the daughter decide to bury the hatchet. I'd see the episode ending with Gandy and his daughter hugging and the big guy crumbling into tears.

Annoying the world since 1960!

Since the son and daughter weren't seen or mentioned in Gandy's subsequent appearances, I'd have to say that they hadn't reconciled at that point.
