Documentary Easter 2016

Anyone watching this? Quite informative, but no sign of Frances de la Tour. Has she disowned the show, or is she just too busy to take part?

reply

Yes I watched it too. Very interesting but I agree that it seemed odd not to see a contribution from 'Miss Jones'. Perhaps it was for contractual or financial reasons, after all she is still quite busy as an actress as you said.
The other thing that struck me was when Don Warrington said that the other actors hadn't missed Richard Beckinsale in the final series. Hopefully that was just a poor choice of wording.
The documentary was advertised as a two-part doc, I recorded both parts but they seemed to be identical to eachother.
Did anyone else notice this?

reply

I saw both parts and they were different, although the second one may have gone over the previous episodes highlights at the start. I didn't learn anything about Leonard Rossiter, did I miss it? I came on here to find out about him, he was married with a daughter, but did they mention that? I thought it ashame that there was no contribution from Frances de la Tour either.

reply

I saw the show and thought it was very good and informative. But I also thought why wasn't Miss Jones involved, after all she was a main character in the show and it would have been great to hear her talk about the show. It makes you think there was some sort of fall out or something with Chapell or Warrington. Interesting to know Paul Jones was the original Alan, great trivia.
