Rhoda DVD will include some edited episodes

For Rhoda fans who have been waiting for the release of this show on DVD for ages, here is some bad news: The DVD release will include 15 edited episodes out of the total of 24 episodes. This is apparently because the original masters for these episodes were in very poor shape. In fairness to Shout Factory (which licensed the show from Fox) they had to work with what they could get their hands on. One piece of good news: The wedding episode IS COMPLETE, and not edited.

Yes delighted Rhoda is out on DVD but the pilot has the very funny opening sequence of Mary Richards(Mary Tyler Moore)taking Rhoda to the airport removed.
Also the very funny episode "The Shower" has a lot of dialogue removed.
Its a shame the episodes are edited I hope the complete pilot,is added on as a special feature in any further release of "Rhoda".

All of the episodes are there it's just that 15 of them are the versions that were edited for syndication. The other ones are the complete versions.
