A romantic movie

For all of the moral issues this movie addresses, I thought it was also a romantic movie - mainly because of the Lee Remick - Ben Gazarra scenes, as well as when Abe (Ben Gazarra) meets and falls in love with Samantha. (Juliet Mills)

Especially when Abe is hospitalized, and Samantha is taking care of him.
The love scene that follows....and (surprise!), they did it with no nudity, no obscenity, etc.
There was actually a good plot, with good writing, and good acting. Actually, this movie beats probably 90% of the trash Hollyweird shovels out nowadays...

Also loved the scenes with Lee Remick and Ben Gazarra, very romantic and well-done.

I've had it on DVD for several years now.

I agree it was very romantic. Although it was upsetting to see the Remick relationship slowly fall apart over the years portrayed in the movie.
