Was Norris a Nonce?

In Happy Release, Fletch and Godber show pure contempt for Norris and even McKay agrees with them. No mention is made of his crime but their attitude and the inference seems to be he's a sex offender of some kind?

I always thought he was either a nonce, rapist or someone who liked to make old ladies part with there pension money

He definitely came across as a weasel - maybe someone who grassed on his colleagues for a reduced sentence, and carried on in the same vein when inside

Tho seeing it recently, Mr Barraclough mentions him "going back to his nasty little habits" after waking Fletcher up.

I think it was more to do with his repulsive character. He seemed like the kind of bloke who if someone got hit by a bus, he'd steal their wallet, then let his own mother go down for it.

Agree with you UAB (great moniker). The feeling I get is totally untrustworthy not rapey.
