The TV series to be shown on terrestrial British TV (True Entertainment)

It looks like the whole TV series will be shown on British TV on the terrestrial channel True Entertainment. The first episode is scheduled for this Sunday (22nd Feb) at 8pm. Seems to be one episode a week.

That's more recognition than the show gets here in the States.

reply

That's because the show was a hit in the UK but a failure in the US.

reply

Yes, I read how well it did in the UK. Probably because they didn't idiotically put it up against Chico and the Man and Sanford and Son.

I only found out by pure accident. I get a TV listings magazine, was just absently flicking through the pages, then noticed PotA. Thought it was the film, then noticed it was on for one hour, and realised it was the TV series instead. Lucky find by me, because it's on a channel that I hardly watch (although I do catch the odd M*A*S*H episode on it now and then).

reply

The Sci-Fi Channel used to show it every year or two, but since it was changed to SyFy, no more of that.

reply

They've cocked up and started with the 'Good seeds'.

It wasnt me, it was the other three. Hang them!

reply

Great start...

reply

It was the first episode filmed.

reply

They cocked up again...episode 8 wasn't shown.

"Zombies, man. Creep me out..."

reply

Yeah, they ended up showing episode eleven twice, once in episode eight's place. It's a pity, because, for me, that was one of the better episodes.

reply

I noticed that...in place of episode 8 we had a documentary on the Royal baby. Good choice, schedulers!

I'm sure they do things like this to make you buy the DVD.
