Why have all the episodes not been released on DVD/Blu-ray/streaming?

All I can find is a VHS-quality recording of 7/13 episodes.

Did the studio lose the original recording or something? It's a wholesome show so I can't imagine some controversy stopping a re-release. Is there any way as a regular joe you can contact the rights holders and ask them about it?
