Timeline...

Ironically I watched this episode first, which was strange because I had all the others and easily could have started at the beginning. This episode starts with Lord Wimsey much younger, then it shows his time in WWI where he is injured and forms his friendship with Bunter, his sergeant who later asks to become (and does become) his new manservant. It's funny they show this in a later episode, when it seems logical to show this in the beginning. I'm glad I saw this one first.

These are SO much fun. It's too bad that Dorothy L. Sayers books, all save one, are out of print. Hopefully with the great success of the new Miss Marples and Poirots this will change and they will once again be in print. They deserve to be. Once upon a time Dorothy L. Sayers was a close rival of Agatha Christie's in sales and she deserves to be read and remembered.
