Just saw an episode with two actors who died before their time-strange?!

Just saw the episode "Landslide" on RetroTV (RTV) and John Ritter and Jeff Conaway were in it, two actors who died fairly young (54 and 60). The cast also included many other failry well known actors such as Lisa Eilbacher and Cameron Mitchell.
Check it out here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0651774/

BTW:Conaway plays his brooding bad boy role rather well.

Wasn't Joe Frazier in an episode?

reply

Yes, he was. 'The Toughest Men In America' episode.
Guess what he played... The Atlantic Fleet Boxing Champion.

Conaway was also in the season 2 episode "Long Way to Nowhere". He had the same first name as he did in Landslide (Mike). Strother Martin played his father.

For 77 years old to be an average, there have to be low examples, hence the two actors. Not odd at all.

Mr Ritter had a congenital condition an Mr Conaway abused drugs, therefore they were more likely to die young.

Now if you think that them appearing together in an episode is significant, it is not. Your mind is simply making connections were none exist.

reply

The connection I made was of their mutual participation in this episode and the strange feeling I got to see two departed actors together who were both younger than I at the time of their passing, none other. If you thought I was making some other type of mystical connection then you are the one who made that connection where none exist.
