was it a everyday drink?

& always right before bedtime.

It was a commonly sought after item even back then Jason.

Though I recall from the books, Pa on more than one occasion, mentioning looking forward to his evening tea. Then again, it’s tough to say how much of the books were based in reality.

reply

hmmmm that's funny cuz in "the richest man in walnut grove" charles told the preacher "I don't like tea!"

Yeah, sometimes I think that the writers just read through the first book, and then said “screw it, we’ll make it up as we go”! Let’s see, we’ll start by making the father an enormous busy body douche, with porcelain ribs, that sticks his nose in everyone’s affairs, then punches them out when they take exception! Oh, and he will insist on cash on the barrel head, except when there’s no cash to put on the barrel head 😀

lol I still love the first episode where the Olesons wouldnt give him credit, since he was new and they had people ruinning out on them without paying, and he stormed out crying

but then the next episode he tells the girls "ONLY CASH ON THE BARREL, We don't do credit"
