He/She were devoted. During their class reunion they were each tempted. They never even considered it.
Another episode was a little more complex as a handy man came to the farm and worked on the new kitchen while Charles was away. Caroline was tempted and perhaps even aroused by this man (Gill Gerard). Nothing untoward happened, but, it wasn't as crystal clear as I thought it would be.
I guess some folks can't accept that two people can really love each other no matter what - in good times and bad. And that they truly have no interest straying...
