What episodes do you consider "Top 10" material?

And what episodes would you consider the absolute worst?

One good one most talk about is where they prank nellie as werewolves. The one where the girl drowns and get mom goes crazy keeping Laura hostage

For the worst, I’d also go along with The Werewolf of Walnut Grove. There’s no way that Bart kid would have been dumb enough to buy that Albert disguised as a werewolf stunt, even if dumb old Carrie hadn’t ruined the plan. Of course at the end
all the kids ganged up on Bart, and beat the living tar out of him
which he so richly deserved, so it’s probably worth tuning in just for that part.

Another one that always comes up as one of the worst, is The Halloween Dream.

It still good for comedy. I love that one where Nellie is in a wheelchair and Laura is her slave or they sell a new hive to the olsens

reply

I read somewhere Strannger, that the wheelchair stunt was actually a stunt gone bad, and that Nellie’s screams were real. I don’t remember the exact details, but apparently the crew lost control of the wheelchair, and it ended up being a runaway situation.

reply

That makes it even funnier

reply

Yes it does 😀

Maybe not the best, but just my favorites:

Country Girls, Christmas at Plum Creek, the one where Laura and Jonah think they struck gold, The Talking Machine, If I Wake Before I Die, May I Have This Dance, and the one where Percival first appears.

Least Favorites:

The Lord is my Shepard (I just hate how the whole story is so rushed and crammed into a 2 parter. They could have kept Freddie around for a whole season.); May Me Make Them Proud, the Halloween Dream, The Lost Ones

A number of the Oleson episodes are classics for me, like when Nels was so sick of Harriet and her nagging and went off on a sales trip. He developed a crush on Maggie Reardon, the woman who ran the bed and breakfast where he stayed. The episode is "Second Spring". Nels sure was loyal to his marriage vows the way he was able to return to Harriet.

I love the episode where Percival's parents visit just before Nellie's baby is born, " Come Let us Reason Together." Harriet and Percival's father, Mr. Cohen, fight over the baby's religious upbringing. Of course, twins was a great solution to their problem.

the episode where Chris the handyman bangs the ever living hell out of Caroline is easily my favorite.

the episode where that old bag fakes her death so her children would visit or something like that was dumb as dirt
