Has it occurred to anyone that Hong Kong Phooey and Inspector Gadget have essentially the same premise? "Arrogant, absentminded crime fighter takes on the bad guys and gets all the credit, but his little known henchwoman actually does all the dirty work."

I never thought anyone would notice that apart from me. But yes, the shows are the same sorta.

Both shows were also made by their main voice actor.
