ill admit i like this show

The first two seasons are very good. I'd give them around 8/10
The third season is the best and one of the best seasons of any comedy series ever. 10/10
The fourth season is nearly as good as the third. 9/10
The fifth season opens with the 'jump the shark' three part episode. It's not a bad season but a huge dip in quality compared to the previous four and the writers started repeating the same 'jokes' over and over. 5/10
The sixth season opens with a 'really really jumped the shark' three parter where Fonzie rides a big bad bull instead of jumping over a shark. It's the beginning of the end. 3/10
Amazingly, this series lasted five more seasons! I haven't seen all of the rest but I've seen enough of the later seasons to realize this show was never the same as it was during its early years. I guess that's true of every successful series. Friends follows almost exactly the same pattern. So did MASH. They all lasted about 5 seasons too long.
