how bad would a remake be? and I bet they would make Richie's Older Brother gay and Him and the dad have a fight and that's why he leaves

To improve it, just keep it in 1950s-64, unlike what they ACTUALLY did that helped it "write the" phrase "to jump the shark", and I am NOT talking about Fonzie..heh heh..jumpin' a shark...

They did a pretty good job of ruining it the first time around. Today they would ruin it in a completely different way, with political correctness.
