The family should have moved out of the projects sooner

Just because you don't live in the projects does not mean your'removing into a middle-class neighborhood . They actually could've run into even more problems living in an regular apartment in a poor neighborhood and having to pay electric and gas. It just would have been nice seeing them move up in the world at least slowly.
