Why doesn't me-tv or attenna-tv rerun this show. I haven't seen it in repeats for years.

shareI believe the implication of that poster's opiniom was that the show isn't syndicated because it would now be considered racist. I doubt that's the reason but blaming the "PC police" for something is the go to response these days.
When Chico first aired, some Chicano groups protested claiming the humor was racist and demeaning. NBC and Prinze completely ignored it and the show went on. I doubt it would even be an issue today. The fact remains that a lot of popular shows from pervious decades languish in vaults because networks don't care about anything that predates right now. The few channels that do focus on "classic" programming have to license the shows. Sometimes studios want far too much money for them that smaller networks just don't have.
