I think it is political correctness. Ed Brown[Jack Albertson] made Hispanic slurs over and over and over again and was rarely if ever rebutted. I know some would say, "Well what about All in the Family?" . The difference is that Mike, Lionel, or both would equalize Archies tasteless , off the cuff comments and you did not have it here.
