is this the series?

Is this that Heidi television animation I rented not too long ago entitled "The Story of Heidi" about Heidi (the little girl) and her village-like friends, Klara, Peter and the Grandfather? I could only remember three lines from it:

1> Where this little girl came up the valley to play with Peter and chitchat with her Grandfather?
2> Where she becomes fond of a little bird and then the dog ate it alive or something but it was saved.
3> The bagels I remember and I think those silly housekeepers were trying to eliminate them.
I rented a feature-length DVD a very long time ago and those IMDB pictures looked familiar to the show. I also remember that clip where Heidi passed out from something extremely distracting to her and got immediatly put to bed but can't remember what happened next. Is this is the series where all those stuff came from or am I thinking of something TOTALLY different? I would really like to know. There are two Heidi's that came out both in 1974 so if somebody who've seen the whole series knows. Pls tell me.
