Final Cut or Theatrical?

I’ve just revisited The Final Cut and although most of the added footage is welcome, the picture quality seriously dips and I kinda like seeing Lord Summerisle for the first time in his mansion, rather then scurrying around the bushes in jarringly poor definition.

I also think the leaner pacing of the Theatrical worked well. Anyone actually prefer the Theatrical Wicker Man?

As I understand it, the "final cut" is only 92 minutes long, which means it's missing at least 10 minutes of footage from the longest home video release. I haven't seen it but the longer one (which is also missing material that may be gone for good) is the definitive one.

Yeah but which one do you prefer?

The theatrical cut is 88m. The director's cut adds 8m of SD in 1979. The final cut has 5m added from film and was released in 2013.
