Release it now...

...because when I saw this movie on BBC2 21 years ago, I didn't have a VCR! Call me strange, but I loved it! Anybody out there that shares my feelings?

It is, actually. It's not ha-ha-funny, but unintentionally funny although some of the dialog seems to hint otherwise. If you ever catch it, watch the end. I won't give a clue except reverse psychology goes down the window...

Saw the movie in 42nd street Trailers, Vol 1. Caught a brief glimpse of Barbara Hershey in an early uncredited appearance. She later starred in The Stunt Man (dir by Richard Rush), which featured the same hotel location.

Anyone know where you can find a copy of this thing?

It is blocked from my work (Where I'm posting now) but this review has a link at the top of the page where you can buy it. I would not scroll to the bottom as it gives the end away.

Haven't seen it yet but I just ordered my copy.

That's the ticket! lol
I saw it last night-at least most of it thanks to TCM and thought the same thing!
It was hilariously bad!
If it is out on DVD I will have my Christmas shopping done for some of my friends.!

I wish I would have recorded it!

It has never been released on commercial home video in the US, but I would really like to have a widecreen, anamorphic DVD of it. Much of the humor in it is quite intentional, by the way. There's a lot of satire in comparing what characters say vs. what is actually the truth (revealed by the contrast between the split screen images). It's one of the most unique horror films of the seventies, although not as great as MGM's 1972 release PRIVATE PARTS, which is available on DVD, thank God.
