Has anyone ever noticed Burt's atraction to older women? His kissin' on the Louise Latham character (Mrs. Culpepper?) in "White Lightnin'" and his relationship with Dinah Shore (can't blame him there). Personally, I find older women attractive, but I wonder if this was an ongoing thing with Burt and why he didn't try to keep it under wraps, so to speak. Just something to think about.

I just watched Louise Latham in Marnie and I came on here with the same question from the same things you mentioned.
He certainly didnt fare very well by marrying younger women. Maybe he should have followed his first instincts. That is if we are correct in our assumptions.
