Just watched "The Way We Were," the first time since I was a teen...when it first came out. Felt old! Then I read that Robert Redford turns 80 this week, on August 18th...now I feel really old!

share..so he's 84 now.
He has supposedly retired from acting, but he did a few roles in his late 70's and early 80's that showed he's still remarkably fit("All is Lost" for one.)
The beautiful face and fluffy blonde mane of his youth is gone (a tough reminder that we all age) but his way with words and his facial expressions (the one-eyed squint, the sudden surprised look) are still there.
He can never go back...we can never go back...but its better, rather than worse, to still have Redford among us.
