The sisters did not look so bad

Granted, I long ago reached the point that 40-year old dames look like young chicks to me, but the two sinister sisters looked more attractive to me than the young dollies they had it out for. Maybe it was just the goofy 1970's hippy-dippy dress and manners.

It must be really over for me.

I've always had a weakness for Spanish babes. I still say they looked better than the scrawny hippy-dippy chicks, and didn't act much wierder.

That's what makes horses race.

Aurora Bautista might have looked 48, but the gorgeous Esperanza Roy displayed impressive full frontal nudity at age 38 (today, she would be praised as a MILF). She also appeared nude in other films, both before and after this one, including Jesus Franco's X312-FLIGHT TO HELL.

Thanks for that info, chongajuly. It's been so long since I've seen Nightmare Inn now, I don't remember what the younger sinster (Esperanza Roy) looked like except that it was a bit better than the older one. Actually I thought both were kind of pretty in their quieter moments, but then I'm an old man. Contrary to what most younger lugs think, women don't just fall apart when they get over 35 -- they often look at their best. The beautiful and exotic Helga Line was still doing nude scenes near 50 and was very impressive, they say. I've never seen Virgin Witch, but I saw a couple of stills from it, and the 39-year old Patricia Haines looked better without her duds than the young chicks.

Even though the Jess Franco movies I have seen make Nightmare Inn look like an Accademy Award winner, I'll have to check out that X312 number...just out of scholarly curiosity, you understand.

mrskin.com features some photos of Esperanza Roy from the Franco title, as well as "Carne Apaleada." They generously deem her nude scenes a 9 out of 10! Helga Line remains one of my favorites too, and "Black Candles" was a real shocker (now if only I can find "Madame Olga's Pupils"). I had already seen Patricia Haines on THE AVENGERS, becoming an unfortunate victim in 1965's "The Night Caller," and she did "The Virgin Witch" only 6 years before her untimely death. There is a website called HAMMER GLAMOUR devoted to lovelies such as Yutte Stensgaard, Barbara Shelley, Adrienne Corri (nude at 40 in "The Clockwork Orange"), Caroline Munro, even the Collinson twins.

Thanks again, congajuly. Actress Pictures@JSR pages (which google) is also a good source for this type of purely accademic research.

Agreed. The two sisters were pretty good looking.

I remember in the '70s, the film was featured on a monster movie show. I was surprised how much they left in. Including the nude sex scene with the younger sister and the handyman. In one brief moment, you see she is wearing panty hose, and the sheet on the bed slides away from her , and you see a quick shot of her vaginal area. Good Lord! That was a shock!
