so which scene was it that Brando... (spoilers)

...falls in love with her? thruout the film he doesn't want it to become anything more than fulfilling lust, and definately NO NAMES! Then abrubtly towards the end he falls in love with her out of nowhere. Maybe I missed a scene but did I miss something

It seems to me that when she tells him she's getting married, his feelings toward her do an about-face. This happens toward the end, in the dance hall I believe.

Honestly, I don't think there's any way of giving you a really succinct answer here, because Brando's character is more of a madman than a lover, but very late in the film he tells her he loves her, which is a major revelation.

I think he realized to be fallen in love with her after the monologue\dialogue with his wife, that was a sort of redemption moment where Paul processed the grief and reconciled with her, indeed I think he was living a conflict with Rose because he can't explain himself why she committed suicide so he used to transfer his hate for Rose on the whole gender but at the end he sorted out that conflict turning the hate in love.

This sums it up nicely, and is what I took from it as well. Specifically about transferring his hate for Rose onto the whole gender. He wants their fling to be about Man and Woman, thats partly why the "no names" thing.

I don't think he was ever in love with her, I think he was obsessed with her by this point and didn't want to lose her, the fantasy had gone great for so long he didn't want it to end, at least not on her terms.
